Having trouble with this site?
Email hello@freedomforge.dev and a human who built it will read it. It helps to say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what you were using: a screen reader, a keyboard, a phone, voice control.
How this site is built
These pages are built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most often used to measure websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act. In practice that means:
- Everything works from a keyboard, with a visible outline on whatever has focus and a link at the top of each page to skip straight to the content.
- Headings, lists and page regions are marked up so a screen reader can announce them and move between them.
- Every screenshot has a text description. The larger view opens as a proper dialog: focus moves into it, Escape closes it, and focus goes back to where you were.
- Text and buttons have strong contrast against the background, and nothing depends on colour alone.
- You can zoom to 400% or enlarge your text and the page reflows, with no sideways scrolling and nothing cut off.
- The moving background behind the page title has a pause button, and does not run at all if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Nothing flashes and nothing times out.
Our apps and games
This page covers the website. If something in one of our apps or games is hard to use, whether that is text size, colour, controls or sound, we want to hear that too, at the same address.
What we do not control
Links to the app stores and to YouTube lead to services run by other companies. If one of them gives you trouble, email us and we will get you what you were after another way.
